Journal History:
“Synaxa – Matica Srpska International Journal for Social Sciences, Arts, and Culture” is a journal of Matica Srpska, in English, launched in 2017. “Synaxa” is a scientific journal whose authors try to contribute to the explanation (and understanding) of phenomena and processes of long duration, structural character and specific strategic importance. The journal supports and encourages a trans- or post-disciplinary (problematic) rather than a narrow specialist approach; and presents to (Europe and) the world the highest achievements of Serbian scientific production in the social sciences and humanities, informs about the top reaches of Serbian artistic creativity and points out the specifics of Serbian cultural pattern.
